About Platinum Aquatics

Platinum Aquatics (PLAT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit swim club and proud affiliate of USA Swimming and Gulf Swimming since 2011.  As part of USA Swimming—home to more than 400,000 members nationwide—PLAT swimmers and coaches regularly train and compete alongside Olympians, World Champions, and World Record Holders. Through Gulf Swimming, we are connected to a broad network of excellence and development within Texas.

Philosophy

We believe in developing well-rounded, competitive swimmers through the mastery of all four strokes and a commitment to structured, high-quality training. Every athlete is supported through a clear pathway from fundamentals to advanced competition. We are equally committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment by upholding all USA Swimming athlete protection policies and guidelines.

 

Core Beliefs

We believe swimming isn't just a Sport - It's a pursuit of excellence.  At PLAT we use the pool to develop competitive athletes with lifelong character.

Safety - We maintain a safe, focused training environment grounded in USA Swimming Safe Sport policies. Every swimmer learns essential water safety from day one.

Competitive Fitness - We build physically and mentally strong athletes through consistent training, stroke mastery, and goal-driven progression. Fitness is a byproduct of purposeful effort.

Sportsmanship with Standards - We value competition with class—athletes are expected to lead with integrity, respect their teammates and opponents, and uphold the honor of the sport.

Ownership & Responsibility - We train swimmers to take ownership of their performance. Commitment, time management, discipline, and resilience are not only taught—they’re expected.

 

Standards of Conduct

Every member of our team—including Board members, staff, athletes, and parents—is expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and respect. We are a USA Swimming Safe Sport-recognized club, and we are fully committed to creating a healthy, positive, and abuse-free environment for all participants.
